Faux Venetian Plaster with just paint!

Here is an easy way to create a troweled plaster look with the Will's Way Kit.

Use the optional 3 color tray and your paint pad to apply 3 paint colors to the surface. Colors that are close together in value and hue will work to give you a subtle finish. If you use a Pearlescent Glaze as one of your colors it will add a glow of pearlescent shimmer to you finished product.

Use a plastic Spackle knife (a metal knife may leave undesirable marks) to smooth and blend the layers together as you apply the paint in small sections about 1 to 2 square feet at a time. Blend you edges together carefully and use as little pressure as necessary to achieve the desired results. With a little practice you will have another great looking finish!
